The Gilbert Promotional Corporation was proud to sponsor the first Pink Ribbon Buckle Roping. The roping was held Friday, May 11th (Mother’s Day Weekend) at the Gilbert Rodeo Park. The event was hosted by Lisa Agee Begay and Amanda September, two sisters from the Gilbert/Chandler area.
The night was all about pink as 116 teams competed with proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the 3Day/60 event to be held in November of this year. Lisa and Amanda decided this would be a good way to raise the money needed to walk. They also hoped to sponsor another walker or two with any extra funds raised.
