why do women care so much about there looks?

whenever i date a girl there always so obsessed over there looks. like last night my gf got her hair done and bought this new outfit and she got so upset when i didnt say anything about it. plus she was spending over 30 minutes to get ready and was getting aggarvated that i was rushing her to get ready. i asked this question before and all the answer i got was because they want to impress guys and dont want them to make fun of them if they dont look good. but i dont care about my gf’s or girls appearence. i dont like it when she wears makeup or does her hair every week or buys there outfits to look good for me. i really dont care that much about her looks. in bed is one thing but spending so much time to go out for a few hours is rediculous to me. to me it would make me feel better if she just wears jeans and a t-shirt or wears a pony tail and not put on any makeup that is when i think she looks hot, when shes all simple and natural but she likes dressing up all the time. and its also that way with other girls i know and dated too. why are girls like that. is it a genetic reason why there like that. is there something inside a girls mind that makes them insecure about there looks. is it the way they grew up that makes them like that. cause i sure hell dont feel that way.
what i was saying was why do they care so much about there looks. i dont mind mind if they want to take care of themselves but its a diffrent story if they need to put on makeup or get there hair donr all the time and obsess over what clothes to wear. and i also like natural beauties not some fake hollywood starlet who needs all of that crap to look good. i think a girls charisma and intelligence is more sexy than what shes wearing or not wearing. funny chicks are by far more sexier than pretty chicks in my opinion.
