In my opinion, the RSPCA aren't always the best when it comes to horses, it's best if you involve an equine charity like the ILPH (if there's one near you) or Redwings e.t.c. Is it a heating mix (Does it cause him to go hypo)? Does he have too much grass? Could you use a softer/stronger bit? Have you ridden him enough, or was he just excited because he hadn't done anything in a while? I use this stuff called Alleviate, I use it on my ex-racehorse, it works wonders! I tried to provide a different answer that focused on the horse, and not you, because you weren't the one who got the fright from the trampoline. Good luck, hope I helped!
