I recently got a layoff notice from the railroad. I am a conservative and have been my entire life. I have never taken a nickel out of society, and always paid big taxes. I will have my job back in June even if the economy gets worse. Do I take a crappy job in a retail enviroment or take government cheese. Can I ride the Obama pony?

Just don’t ride this pony. Better still, don’t pay your taxes and you’ll get a job working for Obama.
You might be lucky to find a crappy job anywhere, you might be forced to take the government cheese
You’ll be paying the bill so go for it.
You should not have any shame about unemployment. You are a hard worker and have been laid off. That is exactly what unemployment is intended for – a short term fix for those who work and contribute to society and hit hard luck.
Ride the pony. Enjoy it you paid for it.
Any unemployment you get will be off-set by massive inflation.
You will be doing your patriotic duty to spend, spend, spend. Your spending will have more effect than the stimulus bill.
Take the cheese; don’t get caught in the trap.
you paid enough to uncle sam..now ask for some money in return till you go back to your job
Get the best of both worlds. Work under the table while eating free Obama cheese.
Take the job, if it pays.
I’ll bet you used to say the pony was for deadbeats, now your one of the team- lol
I will have my job back in June?, grab any job and hold on tight, just in case the rules change between then and now.
At least your not paying big taxes anymore.
Thank Bush for getting you here, and you can thank Obama later
Working for the railroad you pay big taxes? You make between 30 and 45k per year. You don’t pay big taxes. You are the one who is receiving the hand out from President Obama that you hate so much. You are voting against your own best interest. I am in the Entertainment industry. I spend what you make a year on a weekend in Vegas, I pay big taxes.
You just got a tax cut, my taxes just went up. Who should be complaining?
don’t join the dark side
Take the cheese for a couple months…you paid for it. Actually, that’s the way it was intended to be used. It wasn’t meant to live on for years!
If you work for the railroad you have taken way more than your share from the US Government. The railroad is highly subsidized by taxpayer dollars and has been for so may years most people have forgotten. The railroad has been in the red for 140+ years and cannot survive in a free market.

You know, at one time in my life I would never have thought of taking a temporary helping hand , but as I have aged and look around me at all the people who wouldn’t work if you gave them a job , women having babies to draw welfare so they don’t have to work, etc , I have come to the conclusion , I paid for it and by billy b, damned , I’m gonna get some payback , so I encourage you to do the same.
